Buitenplaats Doornburgh is een bijzondere plek langs de kronkelende rivier de Vecht middenin een prachtig park, waar kunst, natuur en erfgoed elkaar ontmoeten. In het voormalig klooster worden residenties, tentoonstellingen, concerten en lezingen worden georganiseerd op het snijvlak van kunst en wetenschap.

CareFull

De missie van CareFull, voor elkaar en je omgeving zorgen, en je relatie met de natuur herontdekken, is precies wat we bij Doornburgh onderstrepen. Op maar 20 minuten fietsen van Utrecht vindt je bij ons een oase van rust, een plek om even tot bezinning te komen, waar je de tijd anders beleefd. Het is een inspirerende plek voor kunstenaars en makers, en we zijn erg blij dat kunstenaar Esther Hoogendijk ons benaderde als locatie voor haar graskunstwerk. Hopelijk gaan veel mensen door deze kunstroute Buitenplaats Doornburgh ontdekken!

Overig programma tijdens CareFull

Neem tijdens je bezoek aan CareFull ook eens een kijkje in het voormalig klooster op de buitenplaats. Er zijn het hele jaar door tentoonstellingen te zien, en er is een programma met lezingen en rondleidingen. Je kunt er ook altijd terecht in de prachtige binnentuin voor koffie, lunch of diner van het restaurant DeZusters. t/m 24 september is de groepstentoonstelling Vorm aan de Vecht te zien. Vanaf 7 oktober presenteren we NIEUW WERK 22; een tentoonstelling van artists-in-residence Bart Lunenburg, Natalia Ossef en Chae Eun Rhee.

At only 20 minutes by bike from Utrecht, you will find an oasis of tranquillity, a place to find peace of mind, where time is experienced differently. It is an inspiring place for artists and creators, and we are very happy that artist Esther Hoogendijk approached us as a location for her grass artwork. During your visit to CareFull, be sure to also take a look in the former monastery on the estate. Exhibitions are on display throughout the year, and there is a stimulating programme of lectures and tours. You can also visit the beautiful courtyard garden for coffee, lunch or dinner at the DeZusters restaurant. The group exhibition Vorm aan de Vecht is on display.
